I have successfully used Foxwell GT80 professional diagnostic tool to read and clear fault codes of Rover Evoque 2012, here I will share the process with more guys.
After many weeks of reading and finding sparse bits of information here and there, I finally ordered Foxwell GT80 as my Rover Evoque 2012 fault codes scan tool, it cost me €1070 with free shipping, the price is a little high, but I have used it to diagnostic my car and my friends’, no major problems have been found yet. My friends said that this product could make a lot of unemployed mechanic. Hummm…I think it is right.
All right, let’s go to the detailed procedures:
First of all, I connect Foxwell GT80 with my Evoque via diagnostic cable which comes with the GT80.
NEXT start the scanner, this is main menu

Well, Select Main Groups->Auto Scan
Next I Select ABS-ABS control module
Select diagnostic function->ECU information
Select diagnostic function->Read Codes
And Back to Erase Codes
Then I select diagnostic function-> Live Data->All Data to know my car status
Next I Select GSMB-Gearshift module B
And select diagnostic function->Read Codes
After reading completely, back to Erase Codes
Select Quick Erase
Are you sure to erase code? Yes
Finally, I select Main Groups->Auto Scan again to confirm the fault codes are erased.
Done! It is simple to operate.
Benz AK500 Key Programmer Smartkey.exe Problem Solutions

When I install software everything was work properly. After some time, I try open and write key, but not starting smartkey.exe or which can’t write nec I.C, just in this moment I hear a beep windows error sound… any ideas?
I install ak500 software on Windows XP SP3 without any anti virus program.

Still have problems with smartkey.exe
i installed it on win7 ultimate 64 bit and everything works as it should, but cann’t get it to work on xp sp3 32bit, installed the xp fresh and the ak500+ software when it starts doesn’t even search for the hardware.. but smartkey.exe when started from installatin folder works now.. The main window pops right up and only firmware update is availible. Drivers are correctly installed and in device manager is also everything ok, tried com 1, 2 and 3.. same
Second attempt:
I struggleed with this issue for a quite of time. Ok you can make a few things here. A forum member helped me to solve that. I had to use win xp SP2, and he sent me the software for ak500, not ak500+ !! The installation is different and when you install the ak500 software it adds some files wicj the ak500+ install didn’t. So after that smartkey.exe did work and when i started ak500+ also. So it was something missing in the install that i got with my device. BUT i figure it out that i need smartkey.exe ONLY for writeing the nec in the zif socket. But what i did not try and what sure has to work also without smartkey.exe was soldering the virginised nec on the key pcb and write the key via IR port !
So try that mate but the install of the old ak500 software should solve your issue.

Install fresh xpsp3 black edition, apply all patches of this xp, install ak500 software, install drivers and smartkey will work.

All Ak400 and Ak500 software work, but
1. SmartKey program start only on IDE hdd, no any other work!
2. have problem with comport some time not found, this come after clear driver installation
3. for ak500 ESL 203 use any drive (local, usb) but Volume must be AK500

Step b) Put it in the ak500 holder , be carfull with the point of the chip .
Step c) Choose the correct mask in software for the mcu .
Step d) Read the mcu and save the file .
Step e) Open the skc and load the bin file that you read .
Step f) Choose the key number that you see free.
Step g) Solder the mcu back in eis .
Step i ) Write the key if is new by infarent holder .

In general I am happy with this TM100 transponder programmer, but I also found some problems:
Slowness chips reading
Lack of information for programming
Actually I have also seen some negative comments, which exaggerate and degrade the real value of this equipment. In my opinion, everybody knows TM100 is not Tango, and compare tm100 with Tango things is not fair, you always pay for what you get. And this TM100 did what it should do for me, so I share my experience here.

1.First, select Tools→ Dump Editor→ BMW→CAS4 odometer setting.
2.Open dump file, current odometer value is displayed, input new odometer value, and set new value.
3.Save new generated file and write it back to CAS4.

How to solve JLR Mangoose SDD Problem “cannot read VIN”
Problem description:
When install JLR Mangoose SDD diagnostic software for Jaguar and Land rover on windows XP laptop, the program runs well, but unable to read Jaguar or Land rover vehicle VIN. SDD “Manual VIN read” failed either.
The Mangoose cable can be detected by computer because the green indicator light flashes. But when loaded SDD both green and red indicator flashed. Try to install on different clean (none-anti-virus software) XP laptop, all fail to read VIN.
Solution (offered by one of the JLR SDD users):
1.Uninstall the previous JLR SDD drivers on the computer.
2.Download the new drivers from the Drewtech website (only fits for 32bit system) and update the firmware on the Mangoose.
3.Install the new downloaded driver and connect the Mangoose cable with vehicle.
4.SDD will be able to recognize vehicle VIN
5.If the method fails, perhaps your vehicle model is not supported by JLR SDD diagnostic software.

After download the driver, you plug Fgtech Galletto 4 Master V54 or BDM100 V1255 Programmer into PC USB port.
You may not find the driver because Windows doesn’t install it automatically. So you should identify the driver and tunt it down on your own.
Steps to install the driver manually:
