One of our customer who own KT200 ecu programmer,after finishing installation, he open software again,it appears the error

Here is the email from him

“I am unable to boot up the received device. after installation, when I press DFB Tech UPDATER.exe and then SERVER CONNECTION displays the message: Server non raggiungibile – riprova piu tardi <> Server unreachable – try later”

we thouhgt that customer did not close the anti-virus software, but actually customer close the anti-virus software.

So we arranged the remote assistance for customer and find out that we should copy”DFB2XX.dll” to catalogue C:\Windows\SysWOW64

If customers computer system is WIN7 32 Bit, so need to copy “DFB2XX.dll” file to “C:\Windows\System32”

and then will be ok .

How to solve the problem when Fetrotech Tool software opens but flashes back and the taskbar disappears.

At present, it can only be solved by replacing the system, taking our windows 11 pro 64bit installation as an example:
1. The customer can download the Windows 11 pro 64bit English system package, one-click backup and restore tool and system activation tool.

Notice:
(1) Before reinstalling the system, you need to close the anti-virus software, otherwise the “One-click backup and restore tool” will not work.
(2) Before reinstalling the system, please back up important files on the C drive (the C drive will be formatted and deleted after the system is reinstalled)

2. Open the “One-key backup and restore” tool, select the first “One-key reinstall system” menu, and then select the win11 64bit system package to open, as the following figure shows.

3. Restart the computer and decompress the system package, and then install the system automatically (Please plug in the computer, do not operate the computer during the installation process, please wait 10-25 minutes)

4. After the system is installed, activate the Windows 11 system

5. Go to the official website (www.tuner-box.com) to download the Fetrotech Tool software, and then run the installation.

6. After installing the software, open it, copy the ID and serial number of the device according to the prompt, “Ctrl + V” and send it to the seller for activation

7. The seller returns the two activation files “Fetrotech tool” and “Fetrotech Tool ok3.5.licesne”, and then copy them to the corresponding directory, as the figure shows below:

8. Connect the fetrotech device to open the software (if an error occurs, please reinstall the software)

Solution for Fetrotech Tool Can Not Launch Software,No Toolbar

Problem:

Fetrotech problem. Task bar killed. Tried admin, no antivirus. Task bar disappears after the splash screen!

Solution:

Just do a CTRL+ALT+DEL and open the task manager, then look for any instances of “windows explorer” if there are more than 1 you will right click on each except one and END TASK, for the last remaining I click the restart button in the lower right. The task bar will appear. Now again I run Fetrotech software, If it does the same thing just repeat the process, Mine usually opens on 2nd attempt. Give it a try.

Here are the detailed steps:

Run Fetrotech as ADMIN (all antivirus and windows defender switched off)

If not open and task bar disappear then press CTRL-ALT-DELETE
Click TASK MANAGER
Look in list for “windows explorer”

On each “windows explorer” process click once, then Click RESTART button at bottm right
Search bar will now reappear.
Now again, just DOUBLE CLICK Fetrotech Icon on screen

Wait a few moments…

Fetrotech will Open. If not, just repeat the process.

Fetrotech trick:

Just do it step by step as it is in the manual and it works !! The most important thing was to download the license files directly to the folder AND NOT COPY. if fetrotech does not open, the taskbar disappears then uninstall everything via the control panel and start over with newly downloaded files. the license files remain the same. IMPORTANT: disable all windows defender and real protection and give your account full administrator rights to modernize files in the system partition. if you do that your ferotech software will work !!

If not working, you need run the installer again via the task manager and run the uninstall. Make sure windows defender and smart screen are completely diasabled, most people do not know how to disable completely – use google. Now re-install via the task manager run menu. After installation, Download the Licence key Directly to the Fetrotech folder in program files x86 directory. Then download the Tool file directly to C: – on each file check proporties and make sure file not blocked. Navigate to your Licence key file and right click OPEN WITH… and select the Fetrotech app…if task bar disappear do as above.

Firstly, Many thanks to the users for their support and love for PCMtuner

After the 1.2.7 version update, all users need to download the PCM Suite installation package from the following website and install it.

Please download the PCM Suite installation package and install it from the website(www.tuner-box.com).

You can get the 1.2.7 version of the software as following.

After downloading, unzip and install.
After installation
1. Double click the desktop to run PCMtuner Flash
As the picture shows below:

2. Copy the machine code according to the software prompt, and send it to the mailbox (info@tuner-box.com).
Please send the machine code together with the serial number on the back of your PCMtuner hardware device to the mailbox to request the activation certificate in order to activate your PCMtuner Flash software. Usually the digital certificate will be returned within 30-40 minutes once we confirm that you are a legitimate user, from Monday to Friday during working hours.

The machine code on the back of the device is shown in the picture below.

3. Receive the tuner-box digital certificate and copy it to the folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\PCMtuner Flash). Do NOT modify the name of the digital certificate. The digital certificate name is shown as below.

4. Set the default opening method of the digital certificate to “PCMtuner Flash” as shown in the picture.

5. Set the “Language”, select English(United States) as shown in the picture.

6. It is best to set the display language to English. If your local language can work, you don’t need to choose English as the display language.

FAQ:
1）My computer starts reading and writing after updating pcmtuner 1.2.7, and it prompts that the PCMtuner Flash cannot be found(as the picture shows below). What should I do?
Answer: Please go to the official website(Tuner-box.com) to download PCMtuner Flash.
2) My digital certificate has been obtained and placed in the corresponding directory. When I open the software, it keeps prompting me to send the machine code to the tuner box mailbox.
Answer: Please set the default opening mode of PCMtuner lincese to PCMtuner Flash
3) After opening the PCMtuner flash, my computer has no response, and the software has no response.
Answer: Please set your “Region” to English as shown in the picture below, and check the unicode Beta version.

If the problem persists, please set the display language to English

If you can’t open PCMtuner flash normally after all the above steps, it means that there is something wrong with your computer system.
Please replace the computer or replace the computer system. If you are unwilling to operate, you can continue to use your PCMflash software as the working software.

PCMtuner ecu scanner is not updated to V1.27, when opening the software and click”Read and Write”, it will show“PCMtuner Flash not Found”

1.Please download the PCMtuner Flash from official site”tuner-box.com” or from this download link and then install it.

2.After finishing the installation, please open it and then please send the”Serial Number” on the back of device and the ID to”info@tuner-box.com”

factory will send license file back to you.

3.When customer get the license file from factory,please copy it to”PCMtuner Flash”file.

VOCOMII dongle, produced by ACTIA in Germany, covers all the functions of the VOCOM2 VOCOMII 88890400, which doesn’t need any cables accessories because it can be connected to the laptop via WIFI perfectly. It is a portable vehicle communication device for its size and weight.

Here we share the steps for wifi setting and firmware update guide

First of all, WIFI Settings

1.Power on the vocom2 dongle and the lights will be flashing. Find the WIFI signal Vocom2D_******* from the laptop. Click connect.

2.Input “v2d+ SN num”, SN number is 7 digits which you can find it from the back of the VOCOM2 dongle. Then click OK. And done.

Second, Firmware update guide:
Pls be sure that the vocom2 dongle be power up by 24V ECU or truck. Low voltage will be affect the firmware update.
1.After the WIFI setting well, go to All Programs and then VOCOMII.

Click the VOCOMII Configurator.

You will see the windows as below. And Click the place as the pictures bellowed.

Then choose “ Advanced” Update Device Firmware
